Troubleshooting

Camera permission

Contevra only requests camera access when you start a business-card scan. If scanning doesn't work, check that camera permission is enabled: Android Settings → Apps → Contevra → Permissions → Camera → Allow. If you previously denied the permission, you may need to grant it manually here, since Android won't always ask again automatically.

Notification permission

Follow-up reminders need notification permission. If reminders aren't appearing, check: Android Settings → Apps → Contevra → Permissions → Notifications → Allow, and confirm reminders are still enabled inside Contevra's own settings.

Business-card recognition

Business-card OCR currently supports Latin-script text and works best with good lighting, a flat card and a steady camera. If a field is misread, correct it in the review screen before saving — recognized text is always editable prior to saving.

QR recognition

Contevra reads QR codes encoded as vCard or MECARD. QR formats outside these two are not recognized. Make sure the QR code is well lit and fills a reasonable portion of the frame.

Google sign-in

If Google sign-in fails, confirm you have a working internet connection and that Google Play Services is up to date on your device. Signing in is optional and is only needed for Google Drive or Google Contacts synchronization.

Google Drive synchronization

Drive synchronization is a separate, optional step after Google sign-in. If your CRM workspace isn't syncing, check that synchronization is turned on in Contevra's settings and that your device has an active connection. Deleting an individual record removes it from your active synced CRM, but earlier versions can remain in Contevra's Drive synchronization history until you use the complete "Delete Drive CRM data" action — see Contevra Data Deletion. While Contevra is in private testing, Drive synchronization cannot be restarted for an account after a full Drive deletion on that account; this will be corrected before public release.

Google Contacts synchronization

Contacts synchronization is separate from Drive synchronization and requires its own consent. It exchanges supported contact fields only — CRM notes, opportunities, follow-ups and scan images are never written to Google Contacts. Contevra never automatically deletes a Google Contact: deleting a CRM contact suppresses reimport but leaves the Google original in place, and deleting a contact in Google Contacts preserves its CRM history in Contevra (unlinked, not recreated).

Pausing synchronization

You can pause Google Drive or Google Contacts synchronization from Contevra's settings at any time. Pausing stops further synchronization but does not delete information already stored locally or already stored in your Google Drive.

Signing out

Signing out disconnects your Google account from Contevra on that device. It does not delete CRM information already stored locally or already synchronized to Google Drive.

Phone-only and signed-in workspaces

Phone-only mode keeps your CRM entirely in the app's local storage on your device, with no sign-in required. A signed-in workspace, once you enable Drive synchronization, is stored in your own Google Drive account. The two are separate — phone-only records are not automatically moved into a signed-in workspace unless you explicitly copy them.

⚠️ Never send passwords, Google verification codes, complete contact databases, identity documents or sensitive business-card images by email. YadriTrans Tech support will never ask for your Google password.
